The Iron’s James Perch has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two goal of the month for October.
His spectacular first-half goal in the 3-1 home win over Exeter City on Tuesday October 22nd is on the shortlist of three divisional goals for the month.

Perch faces competition from Cambridge United’s Jack Roles and Morecambe’s John O’Sullivan.
An EFL press release said: “With 18 EFL goals in 17 seasons, there seemed no danger when Perch let fly. That was until his perfectly struck 25-yard screamer was still gathering pace as it flew into the net.”
The winners of the Sky Bet EFL Goals of the Month are chosen by a fan poll on skysports.com.
The shortlist for the poll is decided by a judging panel following suggestions from supporters via Twitter.
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, Sky Bet Sponsorship Executive Matt Goodwin and EFL Senior Media Manager Rob Meaden.
