The Iron’s Under-23s side will travel to Frickley Athletic on Tuesday, July 23rd as part of their pre-season preparations.
Russ Wilcox’s men will take on the side he played for between 1982 and 1986 at the Westfield Lane Stadium, kick-off 7.30pm.
It’s the fourth game confirmed for the newly-formed Under-23s side, with trips to Bottesford Town and Lincoln United preceding the encounter against the Blues, while an away tie at Winterton Rangers will succeed it.
As soon as we have further details of the Under-23s’ pre-season schedule, we will announce on Scunthorpe-United.co.uk and via social media.
