Loan watch

29 March 2019

We check in with our players out on loan and see what they have been up to in the past two weeks.

Defender Charlie Goode has continued to be a key figure for Northampton Town, however their push for the League Two play-offs has slowed down.

The 23-year-old kept a clean sheet against Grimsby Town in a 0-0 draw before Cheltenham beat the Cobblers 3-1 last weekend.

Goode’s involvement now takes the centre-back up to ten games played for Northampton and they face Port Vale in their next match.

Meanwhile, duo James Horsfield and Andy Dales both played in Dundee’s narrow defeat to Celtic in their last match.

Horsfield started the game for Dee, whilst Dales came off the bench late in the second-half.

However, Dundee conceded a 96th minute winner against Celtic, keeping them in 11th place in the SPL.

Next for Dundee is an away journey to bottom of the table St Mirren, which will be a must win game for both sides.

Midfielder George Hornshaw was an unused substitute as Gainsborough won 1-0 at Bamford. He’s made two appearances so far for Trinity.
