Scunthorpe United would like to take this opportunity to thank Rainham Steel for their support of the club following the conclusion of their front of shirt sponsorship at the end of the 2018/19 season.
Despite the local company not being on the front of the first team shirts next season, this does not bring an end our association with the steel stockholders based on Mannaberg Way. They have committed to continue their support of not only the club, but the town, by continuing to have a physical presence in and around the stadium here at Glanford Park.
Iron Chief Executive, James Rodwell said: “The 2018/19 front of shirt sponsorship marks the ninth season in total that Rainham Steel have fulfilled the role as our principal sponsors and that feat cannot go unnoticed. Having that longevity of sponsorship is invaluable to the football club and we are delighted to be able to continue our association with the company moving forward.”
He added: “Our thanks go to Trevor Webb and his team for their continued support of the club. We all know the pressures facing the UK steel industry and we wish them a very prosperous future in these challenging times.”

We will be announcing our new front of shirt sponsors prior to the first team sporting the new-look kit on Tuesday as we play host to former Premier League champions Leicester City.
