9 December 2019

The Iron's Under-18s are in FA Youth Cup third round action on Tuesday night, when they make the journey to the West Midlands to face West Bromwich Albion (7pm kick-off).

The game will be played at the Baggies' Hawthorns stadium, and we'll have live coverage on the Academy Twitter site, in addition to a report and reaction from the fixture.

Admission costs £5 adults and £1 concessions (over-65s and under-23s).

SCENE-SETTER

United drew 1-1 away at Walsall in their last match on Saturday, with the Youth Alliance Cup draw halting a run of six straight victories in all competitions.

It's the third game inside eight days for the Under-18s side, who won 2-0 away at Chesterfield a week earlier, and have one final game at Doncaster Rovers on Saturday ahead of Christmas.

Scunthorpe advanced to the third round after defeating Notts County 1-0 away in the first, and then Morpeth Town 2-1 in the second.

They take on a Baggies side, who got to the semi-finals of the competition last season.
