The 23-year-old played the full 90 minutes as the Cobblers picked up a point at Meadow Lane. They sit 14th in the division.
Elsewhere, James Horsfield and Andy Dales were unused substitutes as Dundee suffered defeat to Aberdeen in the Scottish Premier League.
Horsfield has made nine appearances so far, while Dales has played for them 12 times.
