Scunthorpe United are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Jonathan Flatt on a one-year deal.
The 23-year-old is a product of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ academy, having joined them at the age of eight before penning his first professional contract in 2014.
Since then, he’s enjoyed loan spells at Wrexham, Chesterfield, Cheltenham Town, Barrow and Kidderminster Harriers. Those stints saw him make a total of 45 appearances before his departure from Molineux at the end of last season.
Flatt has been on trial with the Iron for a week and played 45 minutes in the Iron’s 8-1 victory over Winterton Rangers at the weekend, making some impressive saves during the second half.
