Craig Hicks has been appointed as the referee for the Iron’s away League One clash at Southend United on Saturday.
It will be the first time he’s refereed a Scunthorpe game.
He has officiated 27 games during his debut season as an EFL referee, showing 96 yellow cards and three red.
Andrew Williams and Paul Kelly are assistant referees, with Charles Breakspear as the fourth official.
