Darren Drysdale will be the man in the middle for the Iron's home league clash against Wycombe Wanderers.
The Lincolnshire-based official will travel to Glanford Park for his 23rd game of the campaign and his 9th in Sky Bet League One.
His first game of the campaign was Rochdale's 2-1 away win at Burton Albion in which he showed three yellow cards. Meanwhile, his latest encounter came a week ago when he took charge of the goalless League Two encounter between Macclesfield Town and Port Vale.
He's taken charge of the Iron on eight occasions in total, most recently in October when he oversaw the 5-3 home victory over Charlton Athletic. He showed five yellow cards in that game.
Of those encounters involving United, five of them have come at Glanford Park, so Saturday will be Drysdale's sixth appointment with the whistle at the stadium. In the eight games refereeing Scunthorpe, he's issued 25 yellow cards and no red.
Meanwhile, he's refereed Wycombe Wanderers on 13 occasions - most recently back in September when the Chairboys edged a 1-0 victory at Northampton Town in the Checkatrade Trophy. He showed four cautions in the game.
In 2017-18, he took charge of 46 games, issuing 143 yellow cards and six red. So far in this campaign, he has officiated in 22 encounters, showing 82 yellows and three reds.
On Saturday, Drysdale will be assisted by David Plowright and Declan Ford, while Billy Khatib has been appointed as the fourth official.
