The Iron are pleased to announce a brand-new partnership with Oldrids in Scunthorpe.
The agreement with the department store, located at 28-32 Southgate as
part of the Foundry Shopping Centre in the town centre, will see the club
able to provide a variety of official merchandise lines at the store.
The club officially launched the partnership last week with first team players
Jordan Clarke and new Manchester United loan signing, Cameron
Borthwick-Jackson in the store to meet shoppers, staff and pose for photos
along with the Iron’s mascot, Scunny Bunny.
Marcus Meadows, Oldrids & Downtown Retail Operations Director said:
“We’re into the second full year of trading with our Oldrids Scunthorpe store
and having built a loyal customer base, we’re now delighted to have formed
this partnership with the county’s premier football team, Scunthorpe United,
helping to attract a new customer base into our great store.
“This Scunthorpe United concession is a brilliant addition to our store’s first
floor and the team are looking forward to welcoming the fans of the Iron
through our doors.”
The Iron’s Chief Executive Officer, James Rodwell, commented, “We are
delighted to be able to partner with a high-profile retail outlet in Scunthorpe
“The new 2018-19 kits have been very well received with some excellent
sales following the launch in July and we look forward to working with
Oldrids to make our official merchandise even more accessible to
supporters, seven days a week.”
