Eddie Ilderton has been appointed as the referee for the Iron’s Sky Bet League One clash away at Bury on Saturday afternoon.
The Tyne and Wear official has already sent off four players in his opening five games this season, while also handing out 13 yellow cards.
He was the referee for United’s 3-2 win against Bury in January of last season. Ilderton gave out two yellow cards in that game.
The assistant referees will be Marvyn Amphlett and Matthew Parry, with Michael Salisbury as the fourth official.
