The Iron return to League One action on Saturday as they play Oldham Athletic away at Boundary Park (3.00pm kick-off).
Graham Alexander’s team travel to Oldham on the back of an impressive comeback that saw United beat Peterborough 2-1.
Both Lee Novak and Josh Morris bagged their fourth Iron league goals of the season and the pair will be looking to get their fifth on Saturday. Simon Church, who made his impressive debut as a substitute against the Posh, will also be pushing for a place.
The Iron will face a Latics side that has seen a surge in their form under new boss Richie Wellens. Athletic beat Bury 2-1 on Tuesday and are now seven goals unbeaten.
TEAM NEWS…
Alexander confirmed there were no new injuries acquired in the Peterborough game. Therefore, he will have the same squad of players to choose from as he did for the match against the Posh - with the addition of Andrew Crofts.
The midfielder returned to training on Tuesday. Conor Townsend should return to training early next week, but the Doncaster Checkatrade Trophy match will come too soon for him.
Elsewhere, Sam Mantom is set to have an injection on his groin issue, which rule him out for around a fortnight.
Long-term absentees Jonathan Margetts (knee) and Luke Williams (hamstring) will still be injured for the game.

United will also be looking to avenge a 2-0 loss that they suffered away at Boundary Park last year.
