Scunthorpe United can confirm Noel Burdett has signed a new contract with the club.
He’s penned a one-year deal with a further year option in United’s favour.
The 19-year-old forward, who has been with the Iron since under-9 level, signed his first professional contract with United last summer, having impressed with his performances throughout the duration of his scholarship.
The attacker enjoyed three separate loan spells during the course of the 2016/17 season.
He first joined Frickley in September, scoring nine goals in 13 games, before a move to Gainsborough Trinity in December. He then returned to Frickley in February before he was recalled by the Iron in late March.
