Darren Drysdale will referee the Iron’s clash with Chesterfield at Glanford Park on Easter Monday.
Drysdale, who officiated Scunthorpe’s Checkatrade Trophy triumph over Morecambe back in December, has officiated 19 matches so far this season and, in those, he’s produced 61 yellow and two red cards.
He was last the man in the middle for a United league fixture in March 2016, when Graham Alexander’s men played out a 0-0 draw with Barnsley at Oakwell.
He’ll be joined on Monday by assistant referees Glen Hart and David Benton, with Wayne Grunnill taking up the role of fourth official.
