The Iron are back on home soil on Tuesday night, when they welcome Charlton Athletic to Glanford Park.
Fresh off the back of a 1-0 away victory against Shrewsbury Town, Graham Alexander’s men will want to build on the momentum already generated so far this season.
Russell Slade’s side will come to North Lincolnshire seeking a response though, after slipping to a home defeat at the hands of AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

Manager Graham Alexander says David Mirfin is the only fresh doubt ahead of the match, with the defender nursing a cut he suffered to his eye during Saturday’s victory over Shrewsbury Town.
Apart from that, Alexander says there aren’t too many concerns going into the clash with the Addicks, and he revealed he’s got a near full strength squad to choose from.
The two sides shared the points the last time they met, back in 2012 at Glanford Park.
It didn’t take the visitors long to get themselves ahead, with Bradley Wright-Phillips netting after six minutes - dispatching a fine cross from Chris Solly.
United were soon level though, when Garry Thompson was brought down in the penalty area on 20 minutes. Jon Parkin then converted the spot kick, to cancel out Charlton’s early lead.
Scunthorpe were on top for most of the second half, and Hamer denied Andy Barcham with a superb stop, before Parkin lifted an effort over the bar on 60 minutes.

Last season was a breakthrough one for 18-year-old Ademola Lookman, with the winger making his first team debut in November of 2015.
After that appearance, it didn’t take Lookman long to register his first goals for the club, as he struck twice against Bolton Wanderers ten days later.
He’s also featured in an England shirt too, following his call-up for the European U19’s Championships this year.
