IN REVIEW: IRON 1-1 OXFORD UNITED

28 November 2016

We take a look at all the essentials from our 1-1 home draw against Oxford United.

The Iron set a new club record of 22 home games without defeat at the weekend.

Winger Duane Holmes headed them ahead in the 35th minute with his third goal of the season.

He found himself in the box to meet a right wing cross from Josh Morris and tuck his header just inside the far post.

The away side levelled early in the second half though. From a right wing corner, the ball was played into a crowded box by Alex MacDonald and turned home from close range by defender Phil Edwards.
