Iron central defender David Mirfin scooped the majority of the awards in the club's end of season awards dinner.

The 31-year-old won the main Player of the Season award, the "Ernie Storey Memorial Award" as voted for by the fans, while he also was presented with the brand new 12th Man Player of the Season Award, as voted for by the 12th Man holders of 2015/16.

He also took home five further accolades, including one from the United squad, with him coming out on top in a secret vote by the players.

Following their first professional contracts, Academy Manager Tony Daws presented a joint award to Noel Burdett and Jack Dyche as they took home Young Player of the Season Award, while Neal Bishop was the recipient of the Disabled Supporter's Club Player of the Season Award, presented by Jerry Mahoney.

Paddy Madden was presented with the London and South East Supporters Club award when we faced Burton Albion in mid-April.
