The Iron's academy side have been presented with their runners-up medals following the conclusion of their league campaign.
Mansfield Town edged ahead of United's youth side by just four points, with the Iron winning half of their twenty-four fixtures, drawing and losing six.
NOW PROFESSIONALS: Jack Dyche and Noel Burdett had an important part to play in the campaign which saw the academy side finish second.
They finished two points ahead of third-placed Hartlepool United to attain the runners-up medals, with Doncaster finishing fourth on 40 points following their final day 1-0 victory over Scunthorpe.
