Scunthorpe United Football Club and David Syers have mutually agreed to cancel the player’s contract.
David originally joined the Iron on loan from Doncaster Rovers in October 2013, making 15 appearances and scoring five times.He joined permanently in January 2014, scoring a further five goals in 31 appearances and played a big part in securing promotion from League Two.
Both parties believe this move is mutually beneficial and the club would like to place on record their thanks to Dave and wish him all the very best in the future.
