Scunthorpe United are delighted to announce midfielder Neal Bishop has signed a new one-year contract.
The 34-year-old has penned a deal that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2017.Iron manager Graham Alexander said: "He's an experienced campaigner. He's had a very good season, speaking to other staff members and seeing it from afar.
"He's very respected in the changing room too. We have some very good young players in the squad, but good older professionals like Neal can help them develop further.
"He has shown this season he still has a lot to give."
Bishop signed for the club after leaving Blackpool in the summer of 2014 and has made 89 appearances (45 of which have come so far this season), scoring six goals.
