The Iron's U18 side drew 0-0 at Doncaster Rovers on Saturday morning.
It was a very competitive game which both defences dominated.Chances were sparse although both teams could have scored and won the game.
The Iron lost Matt Stockill on 43 minutes to a second yellow card for two tackles, so Scunthorpe were down to ten men for a few minutes of the first half and the 45 minutes plus three added on of the second period.
"I thought that our players' application and commitment was excellent and our players can be pleased with their individual and team performance," said academy manager Tony Daws.
