Iron mascot Scunny Bunny spent lunchtime among the students of Scunthorpe on Wednesday.
He visited North Lindsey College on Kingsway during their Annual Freshers’ Fair and got involved in the various activities going on, including “Beat the Keeper” and a “Bungee Run”.The mascot couldn’t shy away from his renowned competitive streak though and went head-to-head with a student on the “Bungee Run” to which he emerged narrowly victorious in a 2-1 win in the decider of a best of three.
Other events taking place at the college saw a “Wipe Out Challenge”, zorbing, animal handling and plenty of freebies and advice at the start of the college term.
It comes in the same week that Darius Henderson and Neal Bishop visited the location, presenting awards to the winners of their outstanding achievers over the course of the previous academic year.
