CONOR ENJOYS FIRST-TIME VISIT

8 September 2015

Saturday saw us welcome Conor McGuinness to his very first game at Glanford Park, despite supporting the club away from home on a couple of occasions.

He arrived with dad Eamonn for an experience that he won’t forget in a hurry after making the 280-mile round trip from Bedford.

The nine-year-old was treated to a tour of the ground ahead of the game and even met some of his heroes – including striker Paddy Madden – in the changing room as they arrived for the Blackpool game.

On seeing Madden, the youngster quickly changed his position in the photograph to accompany his favourite player – while he also got autographs of all the team before making himself at home in the OSG Bar ahead of kick-off.

Dad Eamonn tweeted: “Having an amazing @SUFCOfficial day! Fabulous tour, lovely people! Thanks to @PaddyMadden & all the lads for making my lad’s day yesterday.”

Conor joins Presley Pass, who also enjoyed a first-time experience when we faced Millwall, while the Iron have also offered the same experience to other young supporters last season.
