Defender Murray Wallace feels things are starting to come together for the team and says there's real confidence in the camp currently. On loan from Huddersfield for the past two months, he has been pleased with United's recent form, which is starting to push the Iron up the League One table.
"We're gelling together and everything's sort of coming off for us now, which is good," he told The Iron PlayerHD.
"It's four wins out of five this month, so it's a real good run and we're starting to climb up that table."
The Scot has formed a strong partnership with David Mirfin at the heart of United's defence and Wallace stated how good it is to play alongside him.
"He's a real presence, he's commanding and a real leader. So it's good to be playing alongside him," he said.
The Iron face Barnsley at Glanford Park on Saturday and it's aclash which Wallace says the squad is looking forward to and one they'll be looking to win.
He revealed that the disappointment of the late defeat at Gillingham has evaporated and that the squad is on a real high at the minute.
"We've been on a good run, we were hurting from Gillingham,” he explained.
“I really felt like we should have won that. But we're on a real high and we're looking forward to the game.
"We haven't beaten them yet, so they'll probably see us as a scalp, but we'll look forward to it and hopefully beat them."
