WE'RE ALL IN IT TOGETHER

2 October 2015

Stand-in captain Jack King says it's pleasing that Saturday's game against Fleetwood Town has come around so quickly, after suffering disappointment against Walsall.

"If you've not got the result you want in the previous game, you want a game the next day if you can," he told The Iron PlayerHD.

"It's pleasing that we've got the game coming so quickly and we'll get ready for it and we've got to go and do the business."

"We've got to look at the things that we're doing well, and do them better. We know we've got to keep the ball better and we know we've got to defend better," he said.

"At the moment we're not scoring enough goals and we're not keeping enough clean sheets. So it's not a singular thing, we've got to put various things right."

He also realizes the threat that the Cod Army will provide, especially after a managerial departure during the week.

"Every game we go into, Walsall the other night was no different, we expect to get the win and we think we can get the win," he stated.

"They'll come out firing and we've got to be ready for that, but we've got to encounter that and overcome it.

"We're not getting the results that we need, but we're all together in there and we know it's only us that can put it right."
