SWABEY HANDED GILLINGHAM CLASH

19 October 2015

Lee Swabey will take charge of the Iron's game with Gillingham at the Priestfield Stadium on Tuesday night.

Swabey, who has never refereed a match involving United, showed 34 yellow and four red cards throughout the 2014/2015 season.

The 2015-16 campaign has seen the man from Devon step up into Football League matches, after taking charge of only non-league games previously.

Since the start of the new season, Swabey has cautioned 23 players and dismissed two players, with the most recent red coming in Notts County's 1-1 draw with Accrington.

He will be assisted on Tuesday by linesmen Gavin Muge and Anthony Serrano, with Robert Whitton as the fourth official.
