Sebastian Stockbridge will be the referee for the Iron's home clash with Bradford City this Saturday.
Stockbridge took charge of two games involving United last season, with the most recent being a 2-1 defeat for the Iron at home to Doncaster Rovers.Throughout that campaign, the man from the Tyne produced 90 yellow cards and dismissed two players.
So far this season, Stockbridge has cautioned 42 players and given three their marching orders.
He will be assisted on Saturday by linesmen Steven Rushton and Paul Thompson, with Jason Whiteley as the fourth official.
