IT'S FANTASTIC TO BE APART OF

As the Iron have rolled out their new, exciting 12th Man supporter package, Scunthorpe fan Keith Ellis has revealed his delight at what he thinks is an exciting time for the club.

Keith is Scunthorpe through and through, having been a fan for over 50 years and he thinks the club is moving in the right direction with the news of the 12th Man and stadium.

"I'm looking forward to an improved season next year so that's why I've decided to become a member of the 12th Man initiative," he said.

"If we can get some more players in over the summer, I think we can go higher next year."

The 12th man programme entitles fans to unprecedented access to a choice of new stadium seats and home league match tickets.

It also offer supporters free programmes and the chance to interact with manager Mark Robins before a match.

"The free programme is really good idea," said Keith, who is very optimistic about the future of the club.

"We had a really good run last year while getting promoted and I think the team have done really well this year.

"I hope to see more goals at Glanford Park next season. We've got a great history of producing good strikers, like Gary Hooper for example, so if we can score some goals next year we'll have a great chance."

Keith is a Scunthorpe United stalwart, having been a fan for over half a century.

"I've supported the club for over 50 years and my greatest memories we created when we played back at the Old Showground," he said.

Keith also thinks that manager Mark Robins is the right man to take the club forward.

Robins has improved the clubs fortunes on the pitch since he arrived in October, and Keith thinks that the only way is up.

"The new stadium is a really exciting development and it's going to be fantastic to be a part of,” he said.

"It'll be a great help if there's more fans here next season for our final period at Glanford Park so we boost the team as much as possible and take a big step forward for our new stadium."
