IRON CANCEL MYRIE-WILLIAMS' CONTRACT

15 June 2015

The Iron have cancelled the contract of Jennison Myrie-Williams by mutual consent.

The winger had a year left on his two-year contract with the club, having turned down a new deal at Port Vale to join the Iron last summer, but found games hard to come by with just seven starts and eight substitute appearances in the league.

His final start for the club came against his former club Port Vale where he was dismissed after 73 minutes for two bookable offences.

He subsequently joined League Two Tranmere Rovers on loan until the end of the season, scoring three times in 18 appearances – but couldn’t help them to survive relegation from the Football League.

The club would like to wish Jennison all the best for the future.
