Dean Whitestone is the man who will referee the Iron's match away at Colchester this weekend.
Whitestone hasn't taken charge of a United match for over two years, with the last being our 3-0 defeat away at Yeovil in February 2013.The referee from Northamptonshire showed 73 yellow and four red cards last season, including one on the final day of the campaign.
He's already dismissed two players so far this season, both in the same game, as Jose Baxter and Kieran Wallace received their marching orders in Sheffield United's 3-0 defeat at Fulham in the Capital One Cup.
He will be assisted by linesmen Sam Purkiss and Paul Hobday on Saturday, with Adrian Waters taking up the role of fourth official.
