The Iron come into the fixture on the back of a 2-0 victory over Peterborough United on Friday. Paddy Madden and Theo Robinson scored the goals for Mark Robins’ side as they moved up to 17th in the League One table.

A 2-0 Scunthorpe win at Stadium MK is priced at 28/1 whilst Madden and Robinson are both seen as the most likely goalscorers for the away side. Madden is 15/2 to score the first goal of the game and 5/2 to score at anytime, whereas Robinson is 11/4 to score at anytime and 8/1 to find the net first.

The last fixture between the two sides came in January and saw Kyle McFadzean rescue a point for the Dons after Tom Hopper had put the Iron ahead. A repeat 1-1 scoreline this time around is 6/1, which is exactly the same price McFadzean is to score at anytime during this encounter.

After Luke Daniels’ clean sheet in the game at Glanford Park on Friday, a 5/1 bet on the Scunthorpe goalkeeper keeping a clean sheet against the MK Dons may be a good bet this midweek. Less optimistic fans can back the Dons to keep a home clean sheet at 5/4 but Madden and Robinson, who has scored two in his first two games for the club, will be on a mission to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Sky Bet are also offering some match specials for this game. The home side are 7/2 to score two or more goals in the first half, with Scunthorpe being more generously priced at 12/1. MK Dons are 9/2 to score inside the opening ten minutes, with the Iron being 10/1.

Buoyed after the 2-0 win over the Posh on Friday, a 9/2 bet on Scunthorpe United to travel to MK Dons and bring back the three points may just be the bet of the week.
