IRON 7/5 TO SEE OFF BANTAMS

21 April 2015

Scunthorpe United enter their penultimate home match of the 2014/15 campaign as favourites on Tuesday night.

You can bet online now via www.skybet.com/scunthorpe.

Phil Parkinson’s Bradford City are the visitors and the league’s official sponsor, Sky Bet, provide odds of 7/5 for a home win.

The Bantams have drawn four of their last ten Sky Bet League One fixtures. Both sides have drawn 13 matches this term and the chances of them making it draw number 14 is 23/10.

The West Yorkshire outfit has beaten the country’s best team this season - Chelsea - but they are without a win in their last four. Sky Bet Value them at 15/8 for the three points.

Forget the Champions League, you can bet on your team, with over 50 different betting options available on www.SkyBet.com/Scunthorpe, including the Iron to win 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 at 17/2.

The last meeting between these sides was at the Coral Windows Stadium in December, where the scoreline finished 1-1 and a repeat is 9/2.

A 2-1 home victory is 17/2, while last week Bradford lost 6-0 to Bristol City and a loss for the Bantams by the same deficit is a massive 250/1.

The last time Bradford visited Glanford Park was in 2006/07, as the Iron were 2-0 winners and the same result again tonight is 11/1.

Scunthorpe to win and both teams to score is a tempting 4/1 and United’s winning margin by two goals is 7/1.

Hakeeb Adelakun scored in that December clash and he is 11/4 to score anytime, which would also make it two in two for the youngster.

The last Tuesday night game saw Kyle Wootton equalise late on for Mark Robins’ men, for his first professional goal and he is 8/1 to be the last goalscorer.

Top scorer Paddy Madden is the favourite to score first, at 5/1, while he is 11/8 to score anytime.

Theo Robinson scored his first Iron goal at Colchester in the weekend draw and he is 11/2 to score first, while Niall Canavan is 9/1 to continue his good goalscoring tally by netting anytime in the match.

Bradford’s James Hanson is 11/8 to score anytime, Billy Clarke scored in their weekend draw at Sheffield United and he is 2/1 to score anytime, 13/2 to score first or last.

Elsewhere in the midweek games, Bury and MK Dons host Southend and Doncaster respectively, while Preston and Leyton Orient will travel to Notts County and Rochdale respectively.

The other Sky Bet League One game is at the County Ground, as Swindon welcome Walsall.

There’s two Champions League games and one Sky Bet Championship match taking place this evening.
