Curtis Bateson's loan spell at Gainsborough Trinity has been extended by a further month.

The first year professional turned in a man of the match performance during Gainsborough's 6-3 win over Colwyn Bay.

After the game, he tweeted: "What a win. Pleased to grab four assists and a man of the match award too! Can't buy a goal at the minute though!"

Meanwhile, defender Luke Waterfall made his debut for Mansfield when they lost 2-0 to Shrewsbury yesterday. He played all 90 minutes in the match.
