Scans have shown striker Deon Burton faces two-to-three months out after picking up a knee injury on loan at York City.
The 38-year-old frontman came off injured nine minutes into the second half of the Minstermen's 1-1 FA Cup draw with AFC Wimbledon.The medial ligament injury ends the former Sheffield Wednesday frontman's stay at Bootham Crescent and he will undergo his rehabilitation back at Glanford Park.
He played two games while with Russ Wilcox's side.
