Saturday’s game at Glanford Park sees second-placed Scunthorpe take on second-from-bottom Northampton Town in League Two.The Cobblers are four points short of safety under new manager Chris Wilder although they are unbeaten in their last three.
United last met Northampton at Sixfields in September this season and were held to a 1-1 draw.

Andy Welsh has suffered a minor setback in his attempts to return to the first team squad after picking up an Achilles injury in the reserves win at Mansfield.
Deon Burton (calf) continues to remain out, although there are no other fresh injury concerns for the Iron.

The Cobblers will check on Joe Widdowson once again after the defender’s ankle injury sustained at Hartlepool.
