The Iron will kick-off their brand new League One season with a trip to Swindon Town.
The game will be played at the County Ground on Saturday, August 9.Just a week later, Scunthorpe are at home to Preston North End for their opening Glanford Park fixture of the season (Saturday, August 16), prior to another home clash against Fleetwood Town three days later (Tuesday, August 19).
August is rounded off by a trip to Paddy Madden's former club Yeovil Town (Saturday, August 23) and a home encounter with Walsall (Saturday, August 30).
Scunthorpe host Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, October 4 before playing them at the Keepmoat Stadium on the final day of the season (Saturday, May 2).
The festive period kicks off with an away trip to Bradford City on Saturday, December 20 before a Boxing Day home clash against Rochdale.
Also, in terms of derbies, we will visit Sheffield United on Sunday, December 28 before hosting them again on Saturday, March 14.
