The Iron host Huddersfield Town in a pre-season friendly on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
It will be Scunthorpe's fifth friendly of pre-season, as they take on the Terriers for the first time since April 2012.United will be waiting to see if Dave Syers, Deon Burton and James Severn shake up knocks picked up in the midweek win at Carlton Town.
Definitely out is former Huddersfield man David Mirfin, with a knee injury.
Meanwhile, the game could see returns to Glanford Park for Terriers men Joe Murphy and Martin Paterson.
With just two weeks left until the start of the season and with the majority of the players receiving 90 minutes of game time in midweek, the match will form a key part of Scunthorpe's preparations for the campaign opener at Swindon Town on August 9.
