The Iron kick-off their pre-season with the nearest local rivals in Bottesford Town.

They will be looking to kick-off their away pre-season withvictory at Birch Park.

BIRCH PARK…
The Poachers play at Birch Park, located in Scunthorpe, with the club playing in Northern Counties East League Division One, where they finished 15th last season. A relatively new club, formed in 1974, the Poachers have featured in this division since 2007 following promotion from the Supreme Division in 2006. The stadium has a capacity of approximately 1,000, with 90 seats available for supporters if needed.

GETTING THERE…
A short trip for any Iron fan to make. From Scunthorpe, the best way to arrive at the ground is either via Asda (Scotter Road) or via Burringham Road.

From Asda;
Take the third exit on the roundabout to go down Scotter Road South (towards Silica Lodge). Take a left onto South Park Road and then take another left at the junction onto Sunningdale Road. Take the first right onto Goodwood. The road joining is Ontario Road, with the stadium head on, in the direction of travel.

Via Burringham Road;
Take the mini roundabout onto Willoughby Road and then take the second exit of the mini roundabout onto Enderby Road. Turn left onto Sunningdale Road, followed by a left onto Goodwood. . The road joining is Ontario Road, with the stadium head on, in the direction of travel.

PARKING…
Street parking is readily available on Ontario Road and the surrounding roads. There are also a small number of car parking spaces within the club.
