GETTING TO GAINSBOROUGH

18 July 2014

The Iron’s second game in pre-season sees the Iron take a trip to Gainsborough Trinity on Saturday afternoon (3.00pm kick-off).

Here is a guide to their home.

THE NORTHOLME…
Gainsborough Trinity play their home games at The Northolme, which was also the home of Worksop Town from 1988 to 1992 after they were forced to groundshare. The stadium has a capacity of 3,800 standing spaces, with 504 seated at the nicknamed “Chapel” after the “Holy Trinity”.

GETTING THERE…
Head out of Scunthorpe via Messingham Road on the A159. Continue on this road for approximately 14 miles, heading through Messingham, continuing to Gainsborough. Turn left onto Northolme (A159), and keep to the left of the Northolme (B1433). The ground will be on the left. For a SatNav or TomTom enter DN21 2QW

PARKING…
The football club is based in Gainsborough town centre and as a result, there is public parking available nearby. The closest off-street parking is approximately five minutes away from the ground.

SUPPORTERS INFORMATION…
All supporters are welcome in the Blues Club, which you will pass on the way to the ground.
