A late goal by Paddy Madden on his return to Yeovil earned the Iron a hard-fought draw on Saturday.

After Kieffer Moore put the Glovers in front, Gary McSheffrey set up the Irish forward to poke home less than ten minutes from time.

Elsewhere, Fleetwood maintained their unbeaten start to their first Sky Bet League One campaign with a 0-0 draw at home to Chesterfield.

Peterborough won their third match of the campaign with thanks to Kyle Vassell, whose second-half goal to give them a 1-0 win over Bradford.

Jack King’s early goal helped Preston to a 1-0 victory over Oldham at Deepdale to move them up to third place and Barnsley were hosts when they beat Gillingham 4-1.

Former Scunthorpe forward Sam Winnall was on the score sheet for the Reds for the first time, with goals from Conor Hourihane, Devante Cole and Dale Jennings. Gills captain Danny Kedwell had a penalty saved and he made amends by scoring a tap-in late on.

Crewe are the only team in the division without a point after they lost 2-0 at Swindon. Yaser Kasim and Andy Williams helped the Robins beat Steve Davies’ side.

Doncaster won 1-0 on the road at Colchester, as Kyle Bennett’s goal proved crucial, and Port Vale lost at home to Notts County. It was County’s second consecutive win as Gary Jones and Liam Noble helped them beat Micky Adams’ men 2-0 at Vale Park.

Sheff Utd edged Crawley with a 1-0 win at Bramall Lane with Jose Baxter’s neat goal and Ian Henderson’s strike cancelled out Luke Freeman’s of Bristol City as Steve Cotterill’s men drew with Rochdale 1-1.

Leyton Orient and MK Dons shared points with 0-0 draws against Walsall and Coventry respectively.
