The Iron continue their pre-season run of friendly matches with their first of two encounters in Austria on Tuesday, 18th July (6.30pm kick-off, 5.30pm UK time).

It is the third of six warm-up games for Graham Alexander's side following a 6-0 triumph over North Ferriby United and a 2-2 draw against York City in the previous two games.

The United manager has 22 players to pick from this evening, with a clean bill of health across the squad that has travelled to Obertraun.

Scunthorpe trained on Tuesday morning ahead of the game and have endured two long, hard days up until this point, so are expected to be slightly fatigued going into the game; as per the planning.

Alexander is planning to step up the minutes of the players to reach the hour mark, the 75 minute mark or even the 90 minute mark, depending on how things unfold during the course of the game.
