Season Tickets

  1. Issue of Season Ticket

1.1 The issue of a season ticket and subsequent access to the Ground is subject to the Terms and Conditions of Entry.

1.2 Season tickets are for the use of supporters of Scunthorpe United (the Club) only. By applying for a season ticket and/or using the same ticket you hereby warrant and represent that you are a supporter of the Club.

1.3 Season tickets must be available for inspection at any time, as must proof of age or status to validate a concession ticket. Failure to do so could lead to

1.4 Season ticket cards should be inspected upon receipt to ensure that details are correct. The Club accepts no responsibility in the event of the wrong ticket being issued.

1.5 Prior to the first game of the season, season tickets are non-refundable unless authorised by The Club’s board. For a refund request, the season ticket must be returned fully intact prior to the first league game of the season with supporting information requesting a refund. The Club’s board will then decide if a refund will be given within 14 working days. Once the first league fixture has commenced, season tickets are non-refundable.

1.6 By entering the Ground, all persons are acknowledging that photographic images and/or video recordings (and/or stills taken from video recordings) may be taken of them and may also be used, by way of example and without limitation, in televised coverage of the game or by or on behalf of the Club or any Football Authority (or their commercial partners) for marketing, training or promotional purposes. Entry into the Ground is confirmation that all persons have consented to such use of their image. If these images should feature an individual prominently the Club will make reasonable efforts to gain the consent of that person before publishing such images, however, if this is not possible, then entry into the Ground shall be deemed consent unless the Club is notified in writing to the contrary.

  1. Admission to the Ground

2.1 Use of a season ticket constitutes acceptance of the Terms & Conditions of Entry and Ground Regulations.

2.2 A season ticket permits you to occupy at the match the seat or a space on the terrace indicated on the season ticket or such other alternative of equal price as the Club may, from time to time, allocate to you at its reasonable discretion.

2.3 Nothing in these conditions of issue shall constitute or imply any entitlement to occupy the seat indicated on the season ticket in any subsequent season.

2.4 You shall not bring into (or use within) the Stadium any equipment which is capable of recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio, visual or audio visual material or any information or data in relation to a match or any aspect of it.

2.5 Mobile telephones are permitted within the Stadium, provided that they are used for personal and private use only.

2.6 You shall not offer or distribute (either free or for sale by any person) within the Ground or on the club’s footprint, any consumer article or commercial product of any nature. For the avoidance of doubt this clause shall not prevent the lawful distribution of test publications in any format where both the content and the publication are lawful in all respects and do not in the Club's reasonable opinion constitute a threat to public order.

2.7 The Club reserves the right to refuse admission or eject from the Ground any person who fails to comply with the Terms & Conditions of Entry or Ground Regulations.

2.8 In the event of a season ticket holder being found guilty of any football related offence, the Club reserves the right to withdraw the season ticket forthwith with no refund given.

2.9 For safeguarding reasons, children under 14 are not allowed entry to the stadium without a responsible adult.

  1. Use of Season Ticket

3.1 Season tickets are issued for your sole use and you shall not resell, assign or (save as set out in clause 3.2 below) transfer or lend the Season Ticket or the benefit of it to any other person without the prior written consent of the Club. For the avoidance of doubt (and by way of example only) this Season Ticket may not be offered as a prize in any promotion or competition nor transferred, lent or sold to any third party as part of a hospitality of travel package, or used for any other commercial purpose save as expressly authorised by the English Football League or the Club.

3.2 You may only resell or transfer the Season Ticket to a guest with the express written consent of the Club given at the Club's absolute discretion. The transfer must not involve payment or benefit in excess of the face value of the ticket. Such resale or transfer to any guest will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of Entry which will apply to that guest as if he/she was the original purchaser of the season ticket. Upgrades from a Concession rate to Adult can only be carried out through the Club's ticket office for the relevant fee and subject to the Club’s discretion. No refund will be given if it is changed to a category of less value.

3.3 The unauthorised sale of tickets is illegal under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994. The Club will inform the police when it becomes aware that season tickets are being sold illegally and will press charges to be brought against those breaking this law.

3.4 The Season Ticket will remain the property of the Club at all times and must be produced together with evidence of your identity and age if required to do so by any official, steward or employee of the Club or any police officer. The Club reserves the right to retain the Season Ticket at any time.

3.5 Season Ticket age categories for the 2022/23 season. Concessions count as 65 + (born before 31/08/1957), a student in full time education with valid student ID card or an under 21 (born after 31/08/2001). Under 18’s (born after 31/08/2004) and Under 12’s (born after 31/08/2010). Proof of status will be required at time of purchase. The aforementioned dates are amended ahead of each new season and are subject to change.

3.6 Any Season Ticket obtained or used in breach of the Terms and Conditions of Entry will be automatically void and all rights conferred or evidenced by such Season Ticket shall be nullified. Misuse of the Season Ticket may result in the holder being ejected from the Ground in respect of a particular Match and/or the cancellation and withdrawal of this Season Ticket. In the event of any cancellation and withdrawal in accordance with this clause 3.5, no refund shall be payable to the holder in respect of any unexpired portion of the Season Ticket. The Club further reserves its right to take any legal action against persons as it sees fit in connection with such matters.

3.7 Should you wish to move your season ticket seat during the season then you can do so, subject to availability, payment of any difference in entrance fee and an administration charge.

3.8 The Executive Lounge upgrades are classed as a ticket and are not a stand-alone product.

3.9 Should a game be postponed or abandoned, season ticket holders will be admitted to the rearranged fixture free of charge. If a match is abandoned after entry to the stadium, spectators will be advised via the club’s website and social media, the ticketing arrangements for any rearranged fixture.

  1. Changes to Dates, Refunds and Exchanges

4.1 No guarantees can be given by the Club that a Match will take place at a particular time on a particular date. The club reserves the right to reschedule any match without notice and without any liability whatsoever. Your Season Ticket will enable you to attend the re-arranged Match.

4.2 The Club will have no further liability whatsoever, including (but not limited to) any direct or consequential loss or damage, loss of enjoyment or travel costs.

4.3 The Club may on rare occasions divert away from the match pricing structure to offer reduced priced tickets for a fixture. This is taken account when pricing the Season Ticket. No refund on any difference will be available to Season Ticket holders should a ticket promotion take place.

4.4 In the event of restrictions relating to Covid-19 being enforced on the Club which reduces the capacity of the stadium to the extent that season ticket holders are told they cannot attend, a pro rata refund will be available to supporters affected and wish to request one. This does not include personal circumstance or preference to attend games. Requests should be made within 14 days of the fixture and upon receipt of your application you will be advised of when to expect payment.  

  1. Lost or Stolen Season Tickets

5.1 In order to gain admission to the Ground the Season Ticket must be presented and successfully scanned in the presence of the turnstile operator or steward, upon entry at every Match.

5.2 If you fail to bring your season card to a game you will be required to visit the ticket office to cancel your season card for that game and get a duplicate ticket to gain entry on the day.

5.3 If a Season Ticket is irreparably lost, stolen or destroyed, you can apply to have the season ticket re-issued. The Club will treat each case on its individual merits before deciding whether a duplicate Season Ticket shall be issued. You will be required to sign a document confirming the circumstances of the replacement being required. Should a replacement be approved then this will be subject to a £10 administration and replacement fee.

5.4 Should any Season Ticket when applied for not arrive in the post after purchase, you will be required to sign a document confirming this and undertaking to immediately return the original Season Ticket to the club should it come into your possession at any time. There will be no charge for the issue of a duplicate Season Ticket in this instance.

  1. Contact Details

6.1 From time to time, the club may need to contact you regarding issues relating to a fixture, purchase of a seat or other matter. It is therefore important that if you change your email address, phone number or address during the season then you must notify the Club as soon as reasonably practical or update your details via the online account.

6.2 By giving your data you accept that Scunthorpe United will store your data and process it as deemed necessary, which may involve a third party to enable the sale of tickets to take place or to send marketing materials for the Club or in the interests of public safety and security. Please note that Scunthorpe United will never sell your data to third parties. If you wish to opt out of receiving marketing materials directly from the club then please contact sufctickets@scunthorpe-united.co.uk.   1. Cancellation & Withdrawal of Season Ticket

7.1 Without prejudice to any other remedies it may have, the Club shall have the right in the case of any serious or persistent breach of these Terms & Conditions of Entry to cancel and withdraw your Season Ticket. In the event of such cancellation no refund will be paid in respect of any unexpired portion of the Season Ticket. Without prejudice to the general nature of the above the following actions will constitute serious breach of the Terms & conditions of Entry:

  1. NO SMOKING allowed in any part of the Stadium
  2. Persistent standing in seated areas whilst the Match is in progress
  • Sale or transfer (save as permitted) of this Season Ticket to any person
  1. Deliberate misuse of the Season Ticket.
  2. The supply of any misleading or incorrect information in any application
  3. Persistent swearing during the match
  • The throwing of any object within the Ground without lawful authority or excuse
  • The chanting of anything of an indecent or racist nature
  1. Any misrepresentation in relation to Clause 1.2
  2. Breach of the terms of any Membership
  3. Any failure to pay or default of payment in respect of any sums owing to the Club (or any third party) in respect of this Season Ticket.

7.2 In the event that your Season Ticket is withdrawn or cancelled the Club reserves the right to exclude you from any membership scheme maintained or organised by the Club and/or to disqualify you from applying for any match ticket or season ticket at its discretion.

7.3 These Terms & Conditions are applicable for games played at Glanford Park.

  1. Exclusion of Liability

8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the club hereby excludes any liability for loss, injury or damage to persons/property in or around the Ground.

  1. Governing Law

9.1 These conditions of issue shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

  1. Definitions

In the Conditions of issue the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings: "Conditions of Issue" means these terms and conditions governing the issue and use of a Season Ticket "Ground" means the football stadium and all other locations owned, occupied or utilised by the Club. "Ground Regulations" means those ground regulations issued by the Club from time to time that set out the terms and conditions upon which spectators are granted entry to the Ground (Copies of which are available upon request). "Guest" means a relative, friend, colleague and/or companion to the disabled who would be entitled to purchase a season ticket under the Terms and Conditions of Entry. "Match" means any English Football League football match in which the Club participates and that takes place at the Ground. "Season Ticket" means a season ticket booklet (and all or any component vouchers therein) or any season ticket card (and/or any rights arising out of or in its connection with any of the foregoing) for admission to Matches. "Terms and Conditions of Entry" means each of the rules and regulations of FIFA, UEFA, The Football Association, The Football Association Premier League Limited ("FAPL") and the English Football League, the Ground Regulations; and the Conditions of Issue. “Data” means the information required to identify and contact an individual, such as, but not exclusively, the name, date of birth, address, telephone number or email address.

Match Tickets

  1. Admission to the Ground

1.1 The issue of a match ticket and subsequent access to the Ground is subject to the Terms and Conditions of Entry.

1.2 Use of a match ticket constitutes acceptance of the Terms & Conditions of Entry and Ground Regulations.

1.3 You shall not bring into (or use within) the Stadium any equipment which is capable of recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio, visual or audio visual material or any information or data in relation to a match or any aspect of it.

2.2 Tickets purchased for home sections at the Glanford Park are for the use of supporters of Scunthorpe United (the Club) only. By applying for a ticket and/or using the ticket you hereby warrant and represent that you are a supporter of the Club.

2.3 Tickets are issued for your sole use and you shall not resell, assign or (save as set out in clause 2.4 below) transfer or lend the ticket or the benefit of it to any other person without the prior written consent of the Club. For the avoidance of doubt (and by way of example only) tickets may not be offered as a prize in any promotion or competition nor transferred, lent or sold to any third party as part of a hospitality or travel package, save as expressly authorised by the English Football League or the Club.

Misuse of this ticket may result in the holder being ejected from the Ground. In the event of any cancellation or withdrawal no refund shall be payable to the holder. The Club further reserves its right to take any legal action against any appropriate persons as it sees fit in connection with such matters.

2.8 The Executive Lounge upgrades are classed as a ticket and are not a stand-alone product.

2.9 The Club accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or destroyed, tickets and are not obliged to replace them.

2.10 Where tickets are requested to be posted and the relevant charge has been paid, they will be sent via Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ and a signature will be required on delivery. Should the tickets not arrive then the Club will have no liability but you should contact the ticket office who will be able to provide an update on the tracking. The Club will not be liable to refund any postage fee should Royal Mail have not delivered them. Should tickets be lost in the post or not arrive in time for the fixture then the Club will endeavour to arrange for replacement tickets to be made available for collection at the stadium.

2.11 A maximum of two under 12’s can gain entry for free per paying adult or senior concession. Any extra must be paid for at the Under 18 rate.

2.12 Supporters who purchase tickets for the away stand must be a supporter of the away club.

2.13 We may occasionally share data with the away club in accordance with safety requirements and compliance with the ground regulations should we deem it necessary. This may result in the club cancelling supporter’s tickets and/or ejecting supporters from the ground should they be in the wrong areas of the ground.

2.14 The Club reserve the right to cancel tickets at any time if it is found that full payment has not been received.

  1. Changes to Dates, Refunds & Exchanges

3.3 No refunds will be given on any match ticket except in extreme circumstances. A refund request can be made in writing to the Club BEFORE the day of the game with the reason for the request and supporting evidence. A decision will be made within 14 days by the Club’s board.

3.4 If a Match Ticket is irreparably lost, stolen or destroyed, a duplicate can usually be arranged from the ticket office, as long as you can provide the necessary information requested. The previous ticket will be cancelled with a new ticket issued for use.

3.5 Should a game be postponed or abandoned, spectators will be admitted to the rearranged fixture free of charge if the match is abandoned prior to kick off, including if the match is abandoned after spectators have been admitted to the ground, but before kick-off. If a match is abandoned after kick-off, spectators will be advised via the club’s website and social media, the ticketing arrangements for any rearranged fixture.

3.6 In the event of a postponed or abandoned fixture, no refunds can be given until a new date for the rearranged fixture is confirmed.

  1. Contact Details

4.1 From time to time, the club may need to contact you regarding issues relating to a fixture, purchase of a seat or other matter. It is therefore important that if you change your email address, phone number or address during the season then you must notify the Club as soon as reasonably practical or update your details via the online account.
