Season Tickets

1. Issue of Season Ticket

1.1 The issue of a season ticket and subsequent access to the Ground is subject to the Terms and Conditions of Entry. 

1.2 Season tickets are for the use of supporters of Scunthorpe United (the Club) only. By applying for a season ticket and/or using the same ticket you hereby warrant and represent that you are a supporter of the Club. 

1.3 Season tickets must be available for inspection at any time, as must proof of age or status to validate a concession ticket.

1.4 Season ticket cards should be inspected upon receipt to ensure that details are correct. The Club accepts no responsibility in the event of the wrong ticket being issued.

1.5 Prior to the first game of the season, season tickets are non-refundable unless authorised by The Club’s board. For a refund request, the season ticket must be returned fully intact prior to the first league game of the season with supporting information requesting a refund. The Club’s board will then decide if a refund will be given within 14 working days. Once the first league fixture has commenced, season tickets are non-refundable.

1.6 By entering the Ground, all persons are acknowledging that photographic images and/or video recordings (and/or stills taken from video recordings) may be taken of them and may also be used, by way of example and without limitation, in televised coverage of the game or by or on behalf of the Club or any Football Authority (or their commercial partners) for marketing, training or promotional purposes. Entry into the Ground is confirmation that all persons have consented to such use of their image. If these images should feature an individual prominently the Club will make reasonable efforts to gain the consent of that person before publishing such images, however, if this is not possible, then entry into the Ground shall be deemed consent unless the Club is notified in writing to the contrary. 

2. Admission to the Ground

2.1 Use of a season ticket constitutes acceptance of the Terms & Conditions of Entry and Ground Regulations. 

2.2 A season ticket permits you to occupy at the match the seat or a space on the terrace indicated on the season ticket or such other alternative of equal price as the Club may, from time to time, allocate to you at its reasonable discretion. 

2.3 Nothing in these conditions of issue shall constitute or imply any entitlement to occupy the seat indicated on the season ticket in any subsequent season.

2.4 You shall not bring into (or use within) the Stadium any equipment which is capable of recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio, visual or audio visual material or any information or data in relation to a match or any aspect of it.

2.5 Mobile telephones are permitted within the Stadium, provided that they are used for personal and private use only. 

2.6 You shall not offer or distribute (either free or for sale by any person) within the Ground any consumer article or commercial product of any nature. For the avoidance of doubt this clause shall not prevent the lawful distribution of test publications in any format where both the content and the publication are lawful in all respects and do not in the Club's reasonable opinion constitute a threat to public order. 

2.7 The Club reserves the right to refuse admission or eject from the Ground any person who fails to comply with the Terms & Conditions of Entry or Ground Regulations. 

2.8 In the event of a season ticket holder being found guilty of any football related offence, the Club reserves the right to withdraw the season ticket forthwith with no refund given. 

3. Use of Season Ticket

3.1 Season tickets are issued for your sole use and you shall not resell, assign or (save as set out in clause 3.2 below) transfer or lend the Season Ticket or the benefit of it to any other person without the prior written consent of the Club. For the avoidance of doubt (and by way of example only) this Season Ticket may not be offered as a prize in any promotion or competition nor transferred, lent or sold to any third party as part of a hospitality of travel package, or used for any other commercial purpose save as expressly authorised by the English Football League or the Club. 

3.2 You may only resell or transfer the Season Ticket to a guest with the express written consent of the Club given at the Club's absolute discretion. The transfer must not involve payment or benefit in excess of the face value of the ticket. Such resale or transfer to any guest will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of Entry which will apply to that guest as if he/she was the original purchaser of the season ticket. Upgrades from a Concession rate to Adult can only be carried out through the Club's ticket office for the relevant fee and subject to the Club’s discretion. No refund will be given if it is changed to a category of less value. 

3.3 The unauthorised sale of tickets is illegal under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994. The Club will inform the police when it becomes aware that season tickets are being sold illegally and will press charges to be brought against those breaking this law.

3.4 The Season Ticket will remain the property of the Club at all times and must be produced together with evidence of your identity and age if required to do so by any official, steward or employee of the Club or any police officer. The Club reserves the right to retain the Season Ticket at any time. 

3.5 Season Ticket age categories. Concessions count as 65 + (born before 31/08/1953), a student in full time education with valid student ID card or an under 21 (born after 31/08/1997). Under 18’s (born after 31/08/2000). Proof of status will be required at time of purchase.

3.6 Any Season Ticket obtained or used in breach of the Terms and Conditions of Entry will be automatically void and all rights conferred or evidenced by such Season Ticket shall be nullified. Misuse of the Season Ticket may result in the holder being ejected from the Ground in respect of a particular Match and/or the cancellation and withdrawal of this Season Ticket. In the event of any cancellation and withdrawal in accordance with this clause 3.5, no refund shall be payable to the holder in respect of any unexpired portion of the Season Ticket. The Club further reserves its right to take any legal action against persons as it sees fit in connection with such matters. 

3.7 Should you wish to move your season ticket seat during the season then you can do so, subject to availability, payment of any difference in entrance fee and an administration charge.

3.8 The Executive Lounge upgrades are classed as a ticket and are not a stand-alone product.

3.9 Should a game be postponed or abandoned, season ticket holders will be admitted to the rearranged fixture free of charge. If a match is abandoned after entry to the stadium, spectators will be advised via the club’s website and social media, the ticketing arrangements for any rearranged fixture.

4. Changes to Dates, Refunds and Exchanges

4.1 No guarantees can be given by the Club that a Match will take place at a particular time on a particular date. The club reserves the right to reschedule any match without notice and without any liability whatsoever. Your Season Ticket will enable you to attend the re-arranged Match.

4.2 The Club will have no further liability whatsoever, including (but not limited to) any direct or consequential loss or damage, loss of enjoyment or travel costs. 

4.3 The Club is entitled to offer up to four home promotions per season on match tickets which is taken into account when pricing the Season Ticket. No refund on any difference will be available to Season Ticket holders should a home promotion take place.

5. Lost or Stolen Season Tickets

5.1 In order to gain admission to the Ground the Season Ticket must be presented and successfully scanned in the presence of the turnstile operator, upon entry at every Match. 

5.2 If you fail to bring your season card to a game you will be required to visit the ticket office to cancel your season card for that game and get a duplicate ticket to gain entry on the day. 

5.3 If a Season Ticket is irreparably lost, stolen or destroyed, you can apply to have the season ticket re-issued. The Club will treat each case on its individual merits before deciding whether a duplicate Season Ticket shall be issued. You will be required to sign a document confirming the circumstances of the replacement being required. Should a replacement be approved then this will be subject to a £10 administration and replacement fee. 

5.4 Should any Season Ticket when applied for not arrive in the post after purchase, you will be required to sign a document confirming this and undertaking to immediately return the original Season Ticket to the club should it come into your possession at any time. There will be no charge for the issue of a duplicate Season Ticket in this instance. 

6. Contact Details

6.1 From time to time, the club may need to contact you regarding issues relating to a fixture, purchase of a seat or other matter. It is therefore important that if you change your email address, phone number or address during the season then you must notify the Club as soon as reasonably practical or update your details via the online account.

6.2 By giving your data you accept that Scunthorpe United will store your data and process it as deemed necessary, which may involve a third party to enable the sale of tickets to take place or to send marketing materials for the Club. Please note that Scunthorpe United will never sell your data to third parties. If you wish to opt out of receiving marketing materials directly from the club then please contact sufctickets@scunthorpe-united.co.uk. 7. Cancellation & Withdrawal of Season Ticket

7.1 Without prejudice to any other remedies it may have, the Club shall have the right in the case of any serious or persistent breach of these Terms & Conditions of Entry to cancel and withdraw your Season Ticket. In the event of such cancellation no refund will be paid in respect of any unexpired portion of the Season Ticket. Without prejudice to the general nature of the above the following actions will constitute serious breach of the Terms & conditions of Entry: 

      i.        NO SMOKING allowed in any part of the Stadium

     ii.        Persistent standing in seated areas whilst the Match is in progress 

   iii.        Sale or transfer (save as permitted) of this Season Ticket to any person 

    iv.        Deliberate misuse of the Season Ticket. 

     v.        The supply of any misleading or incorrect information in any application

    vi.        Persistent swearing during the match 

  vii.        The throwing of any object within the Ground without lawful authority or excuse

 viii.        The chanting of anything of an indecent or racist nature

    ix.        Any misrepresentation in relation to Clause 1.2

     x.        Breach of the terms of any Membership

    xi.        Any failure to pay or default of payment in respect of any sums owing to the Club (or any third party) in respect of this Season Ticket.

7.2 In the event that your Season Ticket is withdrawn or cancelled the Club reserves the right to exclude you from any membership scheme maintained or organised by the Club and/or to disqualify you from applying for any match ticket or season ticket at its discretion.

7.3 These Terms & Conditions are applicable for games played at Glanford Park. 

8. Exclusion of Liability

8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the club hereby excludes any liability for loss, injury or damage to persons/property in or around the Ground.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These conditions of issue shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

10. Definitions 

In the Conditions of issue the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings: "Conditions of Issue" means these terms and conditions governing the issue and use of a Season Ticket "Ground" means the football stadium and all other locations owned, occupied or utilised by the Club. "Ground Regulations" means those ground regulations issued by the Club from time to time that set out the terms and conditions upon which spectators are granted entry to the Ground (Copies of which are available upon request). "Guest" means a relative, friend, colleague and/or companion to the disabled who would be entitled to purchase a season ticket under the Terms and Conditions of Entry. "Match" means any English Football League football match in which the Club participates and that takes place at the Ground. "Season Ticket" means a season ticket booklet (and all or any component vouchers therein) or any season ticket card (and/or any rights arising out of or in its connection with any of the foregoing) for admission to Matches. "Terms and Conditions of Entry" means each of the rules and regulations of FIFA, UEFA, The Football Association, The Football Association Premier League Limited ("FAPL") and the English Football League, the Ground Regulations; and the Conditions of Issue. “Data” means the information required to identify and contact an individual, such as, but not exclusively, the name, date of birth, address, telephone number or email address.

Match Tickets

1. Admission to the Ground

1.1 The issue of a match ticket and subsequent access to the Ground is subject to the Terms and Conditions of Entry. 

1.2 Use of a match ticket constitutes acceptance of the Terms & Conditions of Entry and Ground Regulations.

1.3 You shall not bring into (or use within) the Stadium any equipment which is capable of recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio, visual or audio visual material or any information or data in relation to a match or any aspect of it. 

1.4 Mobile telephones are permitted within the Stadium, provided that they are used for personal and private use only. 

1.5 The Club reserves the right to refuse admission or eject from the Ground any person who fails to comply with the Terms & Conditions of Entry. 

1.6 In the event of a ticket holder being found guilty of any football related offence, the Club reserve the right to eject the ticket holder from the stadium forthwith. 

1.7 By entering the Ground, all persons are acknowledging that photographic images and/or video recordings (and/or stills taken from video recordings) may be taken of them and may also be used, by way of example and without limitation, in televised coverage of the game or by or on behalf of the Club or any Football Authority (or their commercial partners) for marketing, training or promotional purposes. 2. Use of Match Ticket

2.1 A match ticket permits you to occupy at the match the seat or a space on the terrace indicated on the match ticket or such other alternative of equal price as the Club may, from time to time, allocate to you at its reasonable discretion.

2.2 Tickets purchased for home sections at Glanford Park are for the use of supporters of Scunthorpe United (The Club) only. By applying for a ticket and/or using the ticket you hereby warrant and represent that you are a supporter of the Club. 

2.3 Tickets are issued for your sole use and you shall not resell, assign or (save as set out in clause 2.4 below) transfer or lend the ticket or the benefit of it to any other person without the prior written consent of the Club. For the avoidance of doubt (and by way of example only) tickets may not be offered as a prize in any promotion or competition nor transferred, lent or sold to any third party as part of a hospitality or travel package, save as expressly authorised by the English Football League or the Club. 

2.4 You may only resell or transfer the ticket with the express written consent of the Club given at the club's absolute discretion. The transfer must not involve payment or benefit in excess of the face value of the ticket. Such resale or transfer to any guest will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of Entry which will apply to that guest as if he/she was the original purchaser of the season ticket. 2.6 The Ticket will remain the property of the club at all times and must be produced together with evidence of your identity if required to do so by any official, steward or employee of the Club or any police officer. The Club reserves the right to retain the ticket at any time. 

2.7 Any ticket obtained or used in breach of the Terms & Conditions of Entry shall be void and all rights conferred or evidenced by such ticket shall be nullified. Misuse of this ticket may result in the holder being ejected from the Ground. In the event of any cancellation or withdrawal no refund shall be payable to the holder. The Club further reserves its right to take any legal action against any appropriate persons as it sees fit in connection with such matters.

2.8 The Executive Lounge upgrades are classed as a ticket and are not a stand-alone product.

2.9 The Club accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or destroyed, tickets and are not obliged to replace them.

2.10 Where tickets are requested to be posted and the relevant charge has been paid, they will be sent via Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ and a signature will be required on delivery. Should the tickets not arrive then the Club will have no liability but you should contact the ticket office who will be able to provide an update on the tracking. The Club will not be liable to refund any postage fee should Royal Mail have not delivered them. Should tickets be lost in the post or not arrive in time for the fixture then the Club will endeavour to arrange for replacement tickets to be made available for collection at the stadium. 

2.11 A maximum of two under 12’s can gain entry for free per paying adult. Any extra must be paid for at the Under 18 rate. 

2.12 Supporters who purchase tickets for the away stand must be a supporter of the away club. We may occasionally share data with the away club in accordance with safety requirements and compliance with the ground regulations should we deem it necessary. This may result in the club cancelling supporter’s tickets and/or ejecting supporters from the ground should they be in the wrong areas of the ground.

2.13 The Club reserve the right to cancel tickets at any time if it is found that full payment has not been received.

3. Changes to Dates, Refunds & Exchanges

3.1 No guarantees can be given by the Club that a match will take place at a particular time or on a particular date. The Club reserves the right to reschedule any match without notice and without any liability whatsoever. Your ticket will enable you to attend the re-arranged match. 

3.2 The Club will have no further liability whatsoever, including (but not limited to) any direct or consequential loss or damage, loss of enjoyment or travel costs. 

3.3 No refunds will be given on any match ticket except in extreme circumstances. A refund request can be made in writing to the Club BEFORE the day of the game with the reason for the request and supporting evidence. A decision will be made within 14 days. 

3.4 If a Match Ticket is irreparably lost, stolen or destroyed, a duplicate can be arranged from the ticket office, as long as you can provide the necessary information requested. The previous ticket will be cancelled with a new ticket issued for use.

3.5 Should a game be postponed or abandoned, spectators will be admitted to the rearranged fixture free of charge if the match is abandoned prior to kick off, including if the match is abandoned after spectators have been admitted to the ground, but before kick-off.

If a match is abandoned after kick-off, spectators will be advised via the club’s website and social media, the ticketing arrangements for any rearranged fixture.

3.6 In the event of a postponed or abandoned fixture, no refunds can be given until a new date for the rearranged fixture is confirmed.

4. Contact Details

5.3 These Terms & Conditions are applicable for games played at Glanford Park.

1. Iron Membership cards are not transferable. A membership card and the benefits of the package are only valid when used by the person to whom it is registered and full payment has been received. Any breach of this term will entitle the club to demand the surrender and cancellation of the membership card with no refund issued.

2. The membership card remains the property of Scunthorpe United FC. Membership cards may not be sold, exploited for commercial use, or used for promotional purposes or campaigns without the express written permission of the club. 

3. All Iron Membership schemes are seasonal. The respective fee for each membership is therefore valid for one season only. Memberships purchased for use during season 18/19 shall expire on 31 May 2019.

4. The membership fee is for one season. The fee will not be reduced for new applicants wishing to join at any point once the season is underway except in extreme circumstances as dictated by the club. 

5. The club cannot accept any responsibility for membership cards that are lost or destroyed. Lost membership cards should be reported immediately to the Ticket Office on 01724 747670. Replacements will only be issued in special circumstances and at a cost of £5 irrelevant of age category.

6. All members who purchase tickets must at all times comply with Scunthorpe United FC Ground Regulations and match ticket or away travel terms and conditions. Any violation of these or any other material act or omission by you or on your behalf which Scunthorpe United FC considers in its absolute discretion compromises the safety or enjoyment of any match and/or which in any way brings Scunthorpe United FC into disrepute may result in membership being withdrawn or cancelled with no refund given.

7. The Club reserves the right to make a decision whether, in the event of a cup-tie members joining once the draw has taken place are eligible to obtain ticket priority for that fixture.

8. Where applicable, Iron Membership gives ticket priority, after that of 12th Man Season Ticket Holders, for home and away games in the English Football League and relevant first team cup fixtures.

9. Iron membership provides the registered member with a £1 discount on all English Football League regular league matches. To receive this discount, tickets must be purchased prior to the chosen fixture commences in person, over the phone or online.

10. Supporters must purchase their membership in an earlier transaction to receive the £1 discount. The match ticket discount cannot be applied when Membership is made in the same transaction.

11. Scunthorpe United FC reserve the right to remove the £1 discount for particular games where reduced price general admission is in operation. 

12. When ticket priority purchasing is in operation for particular games, the number of tickets available to purchase by individual members may vary on a match-to-match basis. It is the responsibility of the member to find out when tickets go on sale for each game, when the members' priority booking period commences and how many tickets they are able to purchase for that game. The club will use its reasonable endeavours to ensure that every available club communication channel is utilised to provide ticketing information. 

13. Iron membership does not guarantee a ticket to each game and Scunthorpe United FC shall accept no liability whatsoever for any failure of a person to purchase a match ticket by virtue of his/her membership. It is recommended that you book your ticket at your earliest convenience to maximise your chances of purchasing a ticket for a match. 

14. All rights to priority regarding ticket sales for away games are at the discretion of the Club and membership does not guarantee tickets for any specific game.

15. Access for selected away match tickets will follow 12th Man Season Ticket Holders, the Club will identify these on a match-by-match basis where deemed necessary.

16. If Scunthorpe United FC suspects for any reason that the card is being used fraudulently or in bad faith to obtain match tickets, then the club retains the right to withdraw membership and/or ban the offending individual(s) from the Club with no refund given.

17. No refunds will be given in respect of membership fees, including where membership is withdrawn under clause 6 or 16 of these Terms and Conditions. 

18. If you are convicted of a ticketing offence, or we suspect you have committed a ticketing offence, we will notify the English Football League and / or any other relevant authority, who in turn may notify the UK Football Policing Unit. The information that we share may include your details, information about the offence and about ticket purchases. We will use this to identify and prevent ticketing offence and disorder at matches. If you have any queries about this, please contact our Ticket Office. 

19. From time to time, the club may need to contact you regarding issues relating to a fixture, purchase of a seat or other matter. It is therefore important that if you change your email address, phone number or address during the season then you must notify the Club as soon as reasonably practical or update your details via the online account.By giving your data you accept that Scunthorpe United will store your data and process it as deemed necessary, which may involve a third party to enable the sale of tickets to take place or to send marketing materials for the Club. 20. You should check these Terms and Conditions regularly to ensure that you are aware of any amendments. They will be available at www.scunthorpe-united.co.uk. The club reserves the right to make such amendments from time-to-time, in which case they shall be binding upon you in such amended form. 

21. Any prizes won over the season are non-transferable, and can-not be used in place of something else.

22. The 5% club shop discount is valid from June 1st 2018 to 31st May 2019 inclusive and may not be available on certain lines, sale items or sold from venues away from Glanford Park.

Junior membership is available for all under 18’s (born after 31/08/2000). Proof of status will be required at time of purchase. 
 

OFFICIAL AWAY COACH TRAVEL

1. Passengers are reminded that they must comply with the following terms and conditions whilst travelling on the official supporters’ coaches.

2. Each coach will be stewarded by a Scunthorpe United representative. The steward is responsible for the safety of passengers and their decision is final.

3. Juniors under 14 are NOT allowed to travel on the official supporters’ coaches unless accompanied by a responsible adult.

4. Juniors aged 14 or 15 travelling without adult supervision must complete a parental consent form. Click here to download.

5. A maximum of 4 juniors per responsible adult is permitted.

6. Smoking including electronic cigarettes, will not be permitted on the coach. Anyone smoking may be ejected from the coach.

7. Strictly no alcoholic drink is to be brought onto or consumed on the coach. It is against the law and anyone caught bringing alcohol onto the coach or consuming alcohol on the coach may be refused travel or be ejected and this may lead to a subsequent ban from travelling on the supporters’ coaches as well as Scunthorpe United fixtures.

8. Passengers whom appear to be under the influence of alcohol may be refused travel by the coach steward.

9. Any items that are left on the coach at any time will be entirely at the owner’s risk. Scunthorpe United and Johnson’s coach company will not be liable for lost or stolen property.

10. Any passenger whom has been unwell on the coach will be responsible for the cleaning costs enforced by the coach organisation and depending on the circumstances may be refused on going travel.

11. The coach steward has the authority to search any bags or belongings to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions. Refusal to be searched may result in your travel being refused.

12. When travelling on the coaches, you do so at your own risk.  

13. Scunthorpe United will not tolerate the following behaviour under any circumstances. Persons behaving in such a manner will be ejected from the coach as well as possible bans for future travel and/or home and away fixtures in these circumstances:

  • Foul, abusive, threatening or unacceptable behaviour; 
  • The taking part in any chanting of an indecent, racist, homophobic or discriminatory nature or obscene language;
  • Acts in a manner detrimental, or likely to be detrimental to the Club.
  • Is disrespectful to another member of the public

14. Coaches will depart promptly to and from an away game. We regret that we cannot wait for any late passengers and do not take responsibility for their welfare if they do not arrive on time for departure.

15. If you are disabled supporter and you require wheelchair assistance, please inform the ticket office at the time of booking so that we can make the necessary arrangements with the coach organisation on your behalf. Please note that spaces are limited due to storage space for wheelchairs. 

16. Should a fixture be cancelled at short notice and the coach has already departed from Glanford Park, passengers will not be entitled to a refund, however the club will work with the coach company to try to offer a level of compensation if at all possible. Full details will be available from the ticket office within five working days of the postponement of the fixture. 

17. From time to time, the club may need to contact you regarding issues relating to a fixture, purchase of a seat or other matter. It is therefore important that if you change your email address, phone number or address during the season then you must notify the Club as soon as reasonably practical or update your details via the online account. By giving your data you accept that Scunthorpe United will store your data and process it as deemed necessary, which may involve a third party to enable the sale of tickets to take place or to send marketing materials for the Club. Please note that Scunthorpe United will never sell your data to third parties.
