Former Iron player Josh Morris will be the guest speaker in the restaurant when the Iron host the play-off eliminator on Tuesday, April 28th (7.45pm kick-off).
A prolific and flair-filled winger, Josh Morris enjoyed a remarkable spell with the club, becoming one of the club’s most dangerous attacking outlets. Across his spell with the Iron, he made over 125 appearances and scored 37 goals, combining creativity with a keen eye for goal from wide areas and dead ball situations.
Morris was instrumental during the 2016–17 season, hitting an outstanding 19 league goals and earning a place in the PFA Team of the Year as Scunthorpe pushed for promotion in League One. Known for his direct running, crossing ability, and knack for scoring spectacular strikes, he became a fan favourite at Glanford Park. Early in the season, such was his goalscoring habits, he was the leading marksman in the whole of Europe at one point.
