Setting up for the afternoon of February 7th in one of the huts outside the Attis Arena; Eloise, Ryan and David met with many fans for friendly chats and some interesting queries.

Along with the fans who stopped to chat, we had visits from Julie Taylor (SLO) and Ian Sharp from SUFC. Also good to meet up with Max Bell (Iron Hour); Gareth Holden (Iron Army and Iron Hour); Stuart Maw and Rob Lewis (Unity Group); Positivity Dave; and Sue Rands (new SUFC VP) and not to forget Scunny and Hunny Bunny!

Below is a summary of comments/queries raised at the time and answers now received from the club.

TOPICQUERY / COMMENT RAISEDCLUB RESPONSE
1StadiumLadies toilet facilities in family standThis is a design fault from the ground being built and unfortunately neither facility can be moved. James Moody (JM) will see what remedial action can be implemented
2StadiumExecutive lounge access - people pushing to get up the stepsWill be reviewed by Stadium Manager, Martin Hopper (MH)
3Business/ StadiumExecutive season ticket holder – perks are limited compared to previous offerings, recommendation of bringing back food options pre-matchThe Exec Lounge will go through a full revision in the summer. Too many people access now, so club need to introduce something for next season, but JM will need a review and Board backing. Thoughts for defined ticketing to manage better conduct in there, and return it to being the executive lounge. This will include reviewing food etc.
4BusinessWhen will there be a shareholders meeting? The club waiting for Jackson Stapleton Accountants to complete the accounts for submission, so shareholders can see them as part of the meeting. Meeting date will be advised as soon as they have been submitted.
5StadiumWill we be getting a groundsman for next season?JM suggested that one option would be to employ a Head Groundsman and to take back in house - conversations continuing with the Council to ascertain their views and to what involvement they see in next season, if any at all. Wheels are in motion for the end of season renovations.
6StadiumHedges – car park and outside. When will the planters be done?In the spring once we get past the inclement weather, this will be a project which takes place towards the end of the season and into the close season.
7StadiumThreadgold Stand - walkways are being blocked when waiting for flag bearers. This action has already been implemented since feedback. Emails to be sent to all involved with flag bearers to advise only the team/group organiser/manager + 1 other accompany the children to the meeting area, everyone else to remain in their allocated seats. This will be monitored by the stewards in that area until the info gets filtered.
8BusinessWhat is the role of the Vice President?
Can there be some clarity on their role and involvement in discussions etc.
Their role is to represent and promote the club, generate more revenue streams and introduce the club to more commercial partners as a lot of them are business people with a lot of expertise and contacts. More will become clear in due course as they’ve just set up a working group. They do not take a wage; but in fact, they put money into the club as part of the privilege to have the role, and they contribute to the club. For example, they will be tasked with hosting events to take pressure off employed staff, such as organising the summer Golf Day and evening dinners.
9StadiumChildren at the back of the Britcon stand misconduct. Constantly pushing when goals are scored etc.MH to raise with Senior Stewards in the stand, with the situation being monitored.
10StadiumPitch issues - Unity Group and Positivity Dave shared their opening ideas on this for fan involvementSubsequent launch of the "Pounds for the Pitch" initiative.
