Former Iron player Marcus Williams will be the guest speaker in the restaurant when the Iron host Hartlepool United on Good Friday, April 3rd (3pm kick-off).

Playing 274 games across four spells for the club, the defender began his career in the youth team before graduating signing a professional contract in 2005. He would remain at the club until the end of the 2009-10 season, making a total of 196 appearances in his first stint.

When he returned in 2010-11 for a brief loan spell in the Championship, he would make five appearances from Reading, where he signed when he left Glanford Park.

His next stint would see him rejoin in 2013-14 following the side's relegation to League Two, arriving on loan from Sheffield United, and it would be a promotion-winning year culminating in 28 games unbeaten. When his contract at the Blades was cancelled, he would sign an 18-month deal at the Iron, first helping the side clinch promotion back to the third tier.

He would remain for one further season in 2014-15 where the side consolidated in League One before signing for Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters in the summer of 2015.
