Scunthorpe United can confirm that midfielder Max Brogan has extended his loan stay with National League North side Leamington until the end of the 2025-26 season.

After joining United in the summer of 2024 on an initial one-year deal, Brogan would see the option in his contract activated in the summer, extending his spell at the club for the 2025-26 season.

Since he arrived from Solihull Moors, Brogan has made 33 appearances for the club, scoring three times, with his first two goals coming either side of his loan spell with Telford United last season, during which he gained promotion twice in the same season with both the Iron and the Bucks.

So far this season, Max has been made to be patient for opportunities, playing the majority of his games in the National League Cup, along with a singular goal during United's 5-0 thrashing of Peterborough Sports in the Isuzu FA Trophy.

Since joining the Brakes last month, Brogan has been an instant success in the middle of the park for a struggling Leamington, scoring three goals in just six appearances, including his sensational viral half-way line goal against Macclesfield.

Keep up the good work, Max!

The nature of this loan extension holds a 24-hour recall in favour of the Iron.
