The Emirates FA Cup first round proper draw will be made this evening, live on TNT Sports as clubs from the EFL’s League One and League Two join the competition, with the Iron ball number 58 in the draw.

United made it through to the First Round Proper of the competition for the first time since being relegated from the EFL following a 4-2 win over King's Lynn Town at the Attis Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Among the potential ties in the hat, the Iron could face off against closest rivals Grimsby Town (23), as well as the potential to face Russ Wilcox's Gainsborough Trinity (51) side which did so well in the competition last season, should they beat Hartlepool United in the replay on Tuesday. There are also a handful of new teams that Scunthorpe is yet to compete against competitively, along with a host of former EFL battles.

Fans can watch the draw live ahead of the final tie of the fourth round qualifying between Worthing and Forest Green Rovers.

The draw will be available to watch on TNT Sports 1, discovery+ and on the TNT Sports YouTube page during this tie’s pre-match coverage from approximately 6.40pm BST.

Presented by Becky Ives, the draw will be made by Michail Antonio and Joel Ward.

The first round proper will be played around the weekend of Saturday 1 November.
