Scunthorpe United can announce forward Mark Beck has departed the club to join Enterprise National League North side Alfreton Town on an initial 28-day loan deal.
Joining the club in November of 2024 from fellow National League side Solihull Moors, “Becky” played a part in United’s promotion from the sixth tier of English football last season, scoring a crucial goal against eventual league winners Brackley Town to open his account for the club.
Despite injuries hindering his spell with United, Beck would score the goal that helped Scunthorpe to their second Lincolnshire Senior Cup on the bounce last campaign, and the experienced front man joins Jake Buxton’s Reds in search of rediscovering the goalscoring form he’s been renowned for throughout his career.
