Andy Butler will take his side to face Skegness Town on Tuesday, July 22nd (7pm kick-off) as part of his preparations for the new season.
The encounter, taking place at the Vertigo Stadium, known as the MKM Stadium for sponsorship purposes, will represent another challenge for the Iron with two-and-a-half weeks to go until the start of the new season.
Skegness Town currently competes in the United Counties League Premier Division North, with the side finishing tenth in the standings last season - with the league won by Lincoln United.
The last time the two sides faced each other in a fixture came in pre-season ahead of the 1969-70 campaign when the Iron came out on top in a 2-1 victory away from home. John Barker and Nigel Cassidy scored for United on the day.
Ironically the season in which we last met, was also the same campaign we last met Worksop Town; one of our other opponents this pre-season.
Tickets will be available on the night of the game on the turnstiles and will cost £7 for adults and £4 for concessions.
