Scunthorpe United would like to inform supporters who use the Britcon Stand of some temporary amendments in place ahead of today’s game.
Only Turnstiles 3A, B and C will be operational, with Turnstile 2 completely closed. This will be relevant to both ingress and egress to the stadium, due to an essential maintenance requirement directly outside the area surrounding Vomitory 2, which will not be complete in time for Saturday’s game.
To meditate the exit process, an additional option will be available to leave the Attis Arena via the Emergency Access gates at the corner of the stadium where the Britcon Stand meets the Mortz Stand.
Due to there being just one ingress point (three turnstiles), rather than the usual two (where we ordinarily use a total of four turnstiles), there may be a slight added delay in being admitted into the Attis Arena. Therefore, we are advising all supporters in the Britcon Stand to enter the stadium early where possible, which should help keep queues down, and ensure supporters are inside the stadium for kick-off.
We would like to apologise for the inconvenience this may cause, and will look to have the problem rectified as soon as possible.
